Reimagining the visual identity of established HVAC company

Reimagining the visual identity of established HVAC company

The owners of O’Connor HVAC and Electrical felt stuck with an outdated visual identity that failed to convey their value and personality, making it hard to stand out against the competition. My team helped them identify their unique qualities and applied these insights to create a new logo, website and supporting brand collateral. This gave their team a renewed sense of pride about the brand they represent and established a compelling, consistent presence in their community, distinct from the competition.

This project was created in collaboration with my brand foundations company, Low Octave.

Company "quick pitch"

Company "quick pitch"

You don’t need to be an HVAC or electrical expert to have a reliably comfortable home—but you do need to know someone who is. That’s O’Connor, serving the Rockford area for more than a decade with proactive, expert service and industry-leading products from Amana, Goodman and Generac. When you call O’Connor you get comfort and performance and a partner you can trust. Count on O’Connor for Comfort.

Visual fusion = unique and memorable

Visual fusion = unique and memorable

My team explored ways of combining different nouns to create a unique and memorable mark for O’Connor. The clover (Irish/O’Connor) and fan (air movement) had the strongest connection visually, but also represented the feeling of fortune and comfort the owners wanted to convey to their customers. Additionally, the four blades represent the four seasons.
